Shillong (Meghalaya), June 6 : 12 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 664 .
While 11 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , 1 was reported from West Jainta Hills .

A government statement said that 488 fresh cases were detected on Sunday which included 235 cases from East Khasi Hills .
A total of 699 Covid -19 patients undergoing treatment were discharged today after full recovery .
The active cases as of now stand at 5583 .
