Shillong (Meghalaya) Sept 2: 1 more Covid patients succumbed to his infections on Wednesday taking the death toll to 13 .
According to official sources , 72 -year old Dil Bahadur Biswa hailing from Nongmynsong area of the city breathed his last today at the NEIGHRIHMS hospital .
The state also registered 77 new Covid cases on Wednesday , taking the total cases to 2, 517 . The active cases , however stand at 1186.
Among the new cases today East Khasi Hills district reported 41 new cases , West Garo Hills 6 cases East Garo Hills reported 2,Ri Bhoi District 16, South Garo Hills ,3 and East Jaintia Hills 9 cases .
A total of 83 patients were discharged today after full recovery taking the total no of recovered patients to 1318.
