Shillong (Meghalaya), March 28: The Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs reports that LPG supply in Meghalaya has normalized, with 22,094 domestic cylinders supplied in March and logistics improving to 30 truckloads daily. Commercial LPG supply is also restoring, prioritizing essential sectors.
The government has intensified monitoring, with daily inspections and strict action against hoarding or black marketing. An inquiry into supply concerns found Sunny Indane Gas Agency actively distributing cylinders, with instructions to ensure doorstep delivery.
