Shillong(Meghalaya) April 12 : The state recorded 26 fresh Covid -19 cases on Monday even as 23 persons recovered from the virus.
With the recovery of 23 patients the active cases dropped to 193 .

According to health authorities, of the 26 fresh cases, 19 were were detected in West Jaintia Hills and 7 in East Khasi Hills .
The state tally now stands at 14 ,300 with 193 active cases after recovery of 13, 956 patients . The death toll so far stands at 151 .
