Imphal(Manipur ), May 11 :Manipur recorded the highest single day death toll with 20 deaths on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 509 with 592 new COVID19 positive cases according to the health department.
The number of active cases has now surged to 36,370 (General Population – 32,702 and Central Security Personnel – 3,668). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 30,880 (General Population – 27,395 and Central Security Personnel 3,485). The number of active cases is 4981 (General Population – 4803 and Central Security Personnel – 178). The recovery rate is 84.90 %.
The positive persons were tested at JNIMS (103), RIMS (37), Imphal East (6), Imphal West (24), Maipakpi (6). Mother’s Care (1), CMC (4), Hillside (2). Little Clinic (1), Samaritan (6), RD Wing (6), Ema Hospital (2). Raj Medicity (50). Asian Hospital (3), Advance Hospital (4), Jivan Hospital (13), Shija Hospital (40), Babina Diagnostics (110). Escent Diagnostics (31). Thoubal (17). Bishnupur (23). Kakching (11). Churachandpur (27). Chandel (3), Senapati (6). Tamenglong (2), Tengnoupal (5). Jiribam (5), Kangpokpi (16), Kamjong (1) and Ukhrul (27).
Imphal East and West District recorded the highest number of positive cases till now. Imphal East (176), Imphal West (216), Thoubal (37), Bishnupur (32), Kakching (26), Ukhrul (27), Churachandpur (34). Chandel (3), Senapati (9). Tamenglong (1). Kangpokpi (18), Kamjong (1), Tengnoupal (7) and Jiribam (5).
In the last 24 hours, 20 persons aged 79 yrs (female, Churachandpur), 55 yrs (female, Imphal East), 56 yrs (male, Imphal West), 55 yrs (female, Imphal East), 35 yrs (female, Imphal East), 70 yrs (male, Kakching), 85 yrs (female, Kakching). 54 yrs (male, Imphal East), 61 yrs (male, Thoubal), 48 yrs (male, Imphal East), 57 yrs (female, Chandel), 54 yrs (male, Imphal East), 53 yrs ( male, Imphal East), 51 yrs (female, Thoubal), 55 yrs (male. Imphal West), 55 yrs (male, Kamjong), 71 yrs (female, Imphal West). 77 yrs (male, Imphal East), 51 yrs (male, Thoubal), and 58 yrs (male. Imphal West) expired at DH Churachandpur (1), Shija Hospital (4), CCC Kakching (2), Raj Medicity (1). JNIMS (5) and RIMS (7) hospital respectively.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1045 D type Oxygen Cylinders and 383 B-type Oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health institutions and health facilities of Manipur. District Hospitals have 118 D and 100 B type filled cylinders out of these Bishnupur have (14 D, 12B), Chandel (18D, 9B), Churachandpur (13D,18B), Senapati (9D,15B), Thoubal (25D,27B), Ukhrul (7D,B10), Tamenglong (12D, 4B) and Jiribam (20D, 5B).
As per latest information, the state total number of Persons vaccinated is 275880.
