Guwahati (Assam), Nov 1 : Byatikram Group, one of the premier organizations of North East had successfully hosted its Award Presentation Ceremony entitled ‘Byatikram The Salute Awards 2021’ honoring the dynamic personalities and the unsung heroes of the North East region on Friday at Vivanta, here .
This was the first edition of the prestigious Award ceremony entitled ‘Byatikram The Salute Awards’ which was conferred to some of the dynamic personalities of the region who have made a tremendous contribution to society in the perspective of Culture, Literature, Education,Business, Social Work, Art, etc especially during the pandemic situation.
Former Governor of Meghalaya, Tathagata Roy graced the event as the Chief Guest. Many eminent personalities like MLA of Sipajhar Dr. Paramananda Rajbongshi, Singer Manisha Hazarika, Filmmaker Manju Borah, Sankha Subhra Devbarman, Pallab Bhattacharya, Former Special DGP of Assam, and many others were present on the occasion.
The awardees of Byatikram The Salute Awards were Shankar Lall Goenka, Outstanding Contribution To Cinema (North East ), Dr. Bedabrata Pathak (Contribution to development of (Laparoscopic surgery), Jayashree Ghosh (Excellence in Education), Dr. Sanjive Narain (Inspiring Entrepreneur of the Year 2021), Dr. Bikash Rai Das (Best Heart Care Surgeon), Prof Usharanjan Bhattacharya (Most Inspiring Educationist of the Year 2021), Dr. Gautam Khaund (Best ENT Specialist), Prof Jiban Nath (Excellence in Literature), Ganesh Tamuli (Outstanding Contribution in Health Care Sector), Dr. Dinesh Agarwal (Best Internist & Diabetologist), Dr. Jehirul Islam (Agri Business Entrepreneur of the year), Dr. Chandan Nag Choudhury (Orthopaedic Excellence), Udit Narayan Adhikary (Excellence in Mathematics), Naresh Jain (Dynamic Entrepreneur of the year 2021), Vision Q (Best Competitive Exams Coaching Institute), Karishma Kakoti (Upcoming Young Entrepreneur), Mosfica Hussain (Beautician of the Year), Akid Zaman, Entrepreneur of the year (Business), Bibha Boruah (Inspiring Yoga Trainer of the Year 2021) and Chandrima Syam (Art & Fashion).

A few other special guests such as Actor Nayan Jyoti, Jyotismita Bhattacharya, Mainu Gogoi,Megha Gogoi, Subhranil Bora, CEO of Acting Pathshala, Rosy Bora, and many others were felicitated on the occasion.
The award ceremony also had a book release program followed by a Sattriya performance by Arisha Sheikh and a song performance by Aaswash Ayushman.
