Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 11: The Border Security Force (BSF) on August 11, seized medicines worth rupees 3. 74 lakhs on international border in Meghalaya’s South Garo Hills district.
Based on specific inputs, BSF troops planned an operation in the bordering area of South Garo Hills district and foiled the smuggling attempts of miscreants by seizing medicines while being smuggled to Bangladesh.
The seized medicines were handed over to the Custom officials for further processing.
