Shillong ( Meghalaya), Feb 15 : Supriya Shrinate, AICC Chairperson Social Media & IT while addressing a press conference here today said the President of BJP released their party manifesto and promised to establish a Special Task Force under a retired Supreme Court Judge to investigate cases of corruption against the MDA ruling alliance. This is a big joke because the BJP are themselves a part of the alliance.
She said that the people of Meghalaya want to know -what were they doing for the last 5 years? The BJP has realised that it will not win any seat in Meghalaya, so the announcement of this Special Task Force is actually a veiled threat to other smaller parties to fall in line or else they will be under the scanner.
She added that during the manifesto release there were two ministers of BJP on the dias – A.L.Hek and Sanbor Shullai who were a part of the ruling MDA alliance and questioned Will the BJP also investigate its own partymen who were a part of the corrupt ruling MDA alliance?
She said that the BJP Manifesto released today is a lip service full of jumlas. The Congress party’s commitments made in our manifesto is the best, realistic and implementable and added that We are already committed to provide the following and many more which has been elaborated in the party’s manifesto.
She said that BJP is a threat to the identity of People of Meghalaya with numerous attacks on churches in various parts of India, Innocents being lynched on allegations of eating beef and the anti-conversion bill passed in Karnataka in 2022.
