Kohima (Nagaland), June 13 : The state reported 7 more fresh cases of Covid today taking the total number of cases to 163 .
The active cases, however stand at 114 after 49 patients have recovered after testing negative twice.

State Health Minister S. Pangnyu Phom confirmed the cases in the morning . He tweeted , ” 7 new cases of COVID-19 positive have been reported out of 216 samples tested. 6 tested positive from Mon Quarantine center and one in Kohima Quarantine Center.”
The state cabinet in its meeting held on Thursday approved the creation of posts of 53 specialist doctors and 143 staff nurses to be appointed in all district hospitals.
