Shillong(Meghalaya), Jan 28 : The state recorded six more Covid death again on Friday and 361 fresh COVID-19 cases , 73 more than the previous day, taking the total number of cases in to 90,202.
The Covid-19 deaths in the state increased to 1,515 as six more patients succumbed to the infection.
East Khasi Hills recorded 5 of the 6 deaths while 1 was registered in West Garo Hills .
The state as of now has 2,422 active cases.
Among the new cases, East Khasi hills topped the list with 182 cases followed by 88 in West Garo Hills, 19 in Ri Bhoi, 15 in West Jaintia Hills, 13 in South West Garo Hills, 9 in Eastern West Khasi Hills, 7 each in East Jaintia Hills and North Garo Hills, 6 each in East Garo Hills and South Garo Hills, 5 in West Khasi Hills and 4 in South West Khasi Hills .
A total of 86,265 people have so far recovered from the virus , including 348 in the last 24 hours.
