264 new Covid cases in the state , 4 more fatalities

Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sept 1 : 4 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,315.

While 2 cases were reported from East Khasi Hills , 1 each was reported from Ri Bhoi and West Khasi Hills . All the deceased were not vaccinated .

According to Health department sources , 264 new Covid cases were detected in the state on Wednesday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 156 cases .

323 patients were also discharged on Wednesday .

The active cases now stand at 2,263 .
