254 new Covid cases in the state ,4 more fatalities

Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sep 5 : 4 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the state in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 1,329.

While 3 cases were recorded in East Khasi Hills , 1 cases was registered in West Garo Hills.

According to the figures shared by the health department , 254 fresh cases were detected on Sunday with West Khasi Hills registering 133 cases followed by East Khasi Hills with 81 cases .

222 patients were also discharged on Sunday after full recovery .

The active cases now stand at 2,234 .
