Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh) , May 3 : While the state administration is facing a tremendous task in implementing social distancing norms amid lockdown, some animals have been more intelligent in doing the same and that too much better than human beings .
A bunch of monkeys were spotted at Assam-Arunachal border have been doing much better than human beings as far as social distancing is concerned .
MP and Union Sports minister Kiren Rijiju tweeted, “A perfect #SocialDistancing seen near Bhalukpong in Arunachal Pradesh along Assam-Arunachal boundary. If we observe carefully, animals can teach us many vital lessons that we may have missed in the haste of our normal daily lives. (Picture taken by Arup Kalita, Tezpur).”
Meanwhile, the state got the first COVID-19 testing laboratory at a hospital near Itanagar on Thursday which was inagurated by the Health Minister Alo Libang .
Arunachal will now become the third state after Assam and Mizoram in the northeast to have such facility.
The laboratory was inaugurated at Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIMHS) in Naharlagun.TRIMHS was designated as a dedicated centre for treating COVID-19 patients.
