Kokrajhar(Assam),Feb 11: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has condemned the remarks of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma against former president of India Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam , former prime minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and prime minister Narendra Modi and demanded immediate arrest and punishment of the BPF leader.
Addressing the reporters a press conference at UPPL party office here , BTR executive member and UPPL spokesperson Ranjit Basumatary strongly reacted over the speech of Prahlad Brahma who has made unnecessary remarks on Late Abdul Kalam and Vajpayee.
The UPPL party leader demanded immediate arrest of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma for his unwanted and unacceptable remarks on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Atal Bihari Vaspayee.
He vehemently condemned the comments of Brahma on ex president of India and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and ex prime minister Atal Bihari Vaspayee.
” The speech of Brahma has brought to shame the entire Bodo society with unconstitutional remarks”, the UPPL leader said.
He said that the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in BTR is working for the welfare and development for all sections of the society since it’s inception.
He also reacted to the remarks of ex minister Pramila Rani Brahma about Bodoland martyrs ton Thursday during the BTC accord day celebration,and added that Pramila Rani Brahma’s remarks were unfortunate and unwanted for the society.
He said that UPPL party and BTR government always respects Bodoland martyrs for whom whom Bodos today reached at this juncture.
He also demanded that ex minister Pramila Rani Brahma,should also apologize on the remarks she made on Bodoland martyrs .
Meanwhile,, the Kokrajhar district committee of Bharariya Janata Party (BJP) strongly condemned the speeches of Prahlad Brahma and demanded immediate arrest of Brahma.
Assam state BJP executive member and former president of Kokrajhar district committee BJP , Bibhuti Borgoyary reacted strongly against the remarks of BPF leader Prahlad Brahma on Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Vajpayee and present prime minister Narendra Modi.
Meanwhile, Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has expelled of Prahlad Brahma, one of secretaries of youth BPF from primary membership for his derogatory remarks and uncivilized comments on the prominent leaders of the country including Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of the country,, the former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi, the present Prime Minister of the country.
Brahma made the derogatory remarks on Thursday while addressing BTC accord day celebration held at Duligaon Parbatjhora.
