Guwahati sees seven more COVID -19 cases on Thursday, Assam tally now 86

Guwahati (Assam), May 14 : Seven more cases of COVID-19 was reported on Thursday here raising the total number of cases in the state to 86 .

All the fresh cases are of cancer patients and their attendants who reached here from Mumbai which also includes a 13-year-old child. The child is a heart patient .

In a tweet state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at 1.07 pm today said, ”7 patients & attendants who came from Mumbai & now in quarantine tested positive.

Cancer: 1.Manoranjan Saha 2.Pradip Kumar Bania 3. Gopindra Chandra Malakar;

Heart: 4. 13-year-old (name withheld)

Attendants:5. P Basudev Patowari 6. Nilakantha Deb 7. Mina Rani Bania
