Kokrajhar(Assam),Jan 8: A dead body of a woman was recovered hanging from a tree on Wednesday morning under mysterious circumstances in Assam’s Kokrajhar district.
The incident took place at Rainadabri under Kokrajhar Police Station in Kokrajhar district.
The body was found hanging from a tree and was noticed by local people near the Sericulture farm at Rainadabri.
According to the locals , the lady was suspected to murdered first and then hung on a tree .
They have demanded a through investigation into incident to identify the culprits.
Meanwhile ,police have started it’s investigation into incident. The body of the woman was identified as of 24 – year old Ghur Begum hailing from Morigaon district.
‘It is a case of murder according the necessary investigation and inputs gathered about the incident’,said a senior police officer.
