Guwahati (Assam), May 27 : 60 fresh cases of Covid were detected this evening taking the total number of patients infected during the day to 92 and the total number of cases to 774 in the state .
The state health minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma said out of the 60 cases 41 are from Kamrup Metro , 9 from Hojai , 5 from Morigaon, 4 from Darrang and 1 from Kamrup.
The Minister stated that in a positive development 25 patients have been discharged today in the state after being tested #COVID19 negative twice which includes 22 from MMCH, 2 from SMCH & 1 from JMCH
The minister tweeted at 6.30 pm , ”📌Alert ~ 60 new cases of #COVID19+ reported. 41 Kamrup Metro, 9 Hojai, 5 Morigaon, 4 Darrang, 1 Kamrup.”
