Guwahati (Assam), May 28 : 9 more cases of Covid -19 were reported on Wednesday late night taking the total figures to 783 .
State health minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 9 more cases were reported on Wednesday late night . Out of the 9 new cases 5 are from hojai , 1 from Morigaon, 1 from Kamrup Metro and 1 from Jorhat .

With these new cases the total active cases stand at 689 while 87 patients have been released after full recovery .
The Minister tweeted at 11.45 pm , ” 📌Alert ~ 9 new cases of #COVID19+ reported.5 Hojai, 1 Nagaon, 1 Morigaon, 1 Kamrup Metro, 1 Jorhat.”
