(Assam), June 6 : The state recorded a total of 230 new Covid cases today taking the figures to 2475.
In the latest lot on Saturday night, 76 news cases were detected which included 23 from Dhubri, 22 from Darrang , 12 from Kamrup Metro, 7 from Dibrugarh, 5 from Barpeta , 3 from Dhemaji , 2 from Sonitpur and 2 from Bongaigaon .
Meanwhile , 41 more patients have been discharged today after they tested negative for #COVID19 twice as per Covid protocol.
As of now the state has 588 recovered patients and 1878 active cases.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted at 11.35 pm , ” Alert ~ 76 new #COVID19+ cases.23 Dhubri, 22 Darrang,12 Kamrup Metro, 7 Dibrugarh, 5 Barpeta, 3 Dhemaji, 2 Sonitpur, 2 Bongaigaon.”
