Guwahati(Assam ), May 13 :15 more COVID19 positive cases were detected in Fancy Bazar areas here toaday taking the total number of cases in the state to 79.
State Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also confirmed that all the positive cases are related to one patient Mungru Sahani who was detected positive in the Fancy Bazar area of the city on Monday .
All the 15 patients were under quarantine as they had come into the contact with Mungru Sahani who was residing in Hotel Rajkamal at Fancy Bazar.
With these 15 fresh cases, the number of active cases in the state has increased to 37.
Already , 39 COVID19 patients have been discharged from various hospitals in the state .
Sarma tweeted at 7. 10 pm “Alert ~ 15 persons are tested #COVID19 + in Kamrup Metro. All are related to patient from Guwahati’s Fancy Bazaar, who tested + recently. All under quarantine and please dont panic.”
