Guwahati ( Assam) , Sept 13 : 1292 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state on Sunday taking the total number of cases in the state so far to 1,41763 .
Among the new cases , Kamrup Metro reported 422 , Jorhat 134 and Lakhimpur -107 .
16 more critically ill Covid patients succumbed to their infections on Sunday at various hospital across the state taking the death toll to 469.
2251 patients were discharged on Sunday after recovery .
Confirming the figures Health Minister , HB Sarma tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 1292 #COVID cases detected today out of 15515 tests done in last 24 hours
