Guwahati(Assam) , Sept 7 : A total of 2785 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state on Monday taking the total number of cases to 128244.
Among the new cases detected on Monday , 675 are from Kamrup Metro, 220 from Dibrugarh, 165 from Jorhat and 126 from Lakhimpur .
A total of 10 seriously ill Covid patients succumbed to their infections at various hospitals across the state taking the death toll to 370 .
Meanwhile , 2250 patients discharged today from various hospital across the state .
Confirming the figures Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 2785 #COVID cases detected today out of 38611 tests done in last 24 hours
Positivity Rate- 7.21%
