Alarming ! 18 more Covid deaths on Wednesday in Assam ; 2243 new cases

Guwahati(Assam), Sept 9 : 18 more Covid deaths were recorded in Assam on Wednesday taking the death toll to 396 .

A total of 2343 new Covid cases were detected on Wednesday taking the tally to 133066 .

Among the new cases 641 were reported from Kamrup Metyro , 170 from Dibrugarh, 140 from Jorhat and 106 from Lakhimpur .

Confirming the figures Health Minister . HB Sarma tweeted , “📌Alert ~ 2243 #COVID cases detected today out of 31562 tests done in last 24 hours

Positivity Rate- 7.10%
