Guwahati (Assam) , March 24 : CISF personnel forced an 80-year-old woman , Mhalo Kikon from Nagaland, to strip at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI) here today .
A woman official of the CISF allegedly forced her to remove all of her clothes, including her underwear and diaper during security check -in at LGBI Airport .
The elderly disabled lady along with her grandchild were scheduled to travel from Guwahati to Delhi on a GoAir flight .
80-year-old Mhalo Kikon had undergone a hip replacement surgery and has to use a wheelchair .The security personnel wanted “proof” of her titanium hip implant and forced her to undress.
Her daughter ,Dolly Kikon a noted author from Nagaland, in a tweet stated stated that the CISF personnel forced her disabled mother to strip at the LGBI Airport in Guwahati.

Ms. Kikon further stated that her niece had been harassed by CISF security personnel after a police report regarding the incident had been filed by her. Replying to her tweet, Union civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said: “Looking into this.”
The matter has been taken up by Guwahati airport authorities and CISF officials to follow up. Security teams have contacted Dolly Kikon immediately to further assist the passengers and ensure comfort.
