Agartala ( Tripura), April 7 : Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has tested positive for COVID-19.
The Chief Minister tweeted ,“I have been tested positive for Covid-19.” I have isolated myself at home as per the advice of doctors. I request everyone to please follow all the COVID appropriate behavior and stay safe.”

Meanwhile,One person died due COVID19 infection in the state while 21 other new positive cases have been registered in the state today.
Incidentally, this is the highest number of single-day infection in state this year.
