Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 20: In a significant stride towards smart governance, Meghalaya’s Chief Minister, Conrad K. Sangma, inaugurated the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) at Umsawli, here. This cutting-edge facility promises to revolutionize the state’s governance, rendering it more efficient, transparent, and citizen friendly.
The ICCC boasts an array of features that will streamline governance, including an intuitive dashboard, powerful content editing and publishing tools, robust integrations, and detailed analytics. These features will enable seamless management of various city operations, ensuring real-time data-driven decision-making.
Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma envisioned the ICCC as the “brain” of Shillong’s smart city initiative, emphasizing its potential to transform governance. “This centre will assist in making right and timely decisions, leveraging technology to improve the lives of citizens,” he stated.
Dignitaries present at the inauguration included Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, Chief Secretary D.P. Wahlang, Director General of Police Idashisha Nongrang, Commissioner & Secretary, Urban Affairs, Vijay Kumar, and Commissioner & Secretary, Information Technology, Pravin Bakshi.
