Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sep 5 : In a thrilling match of the Shillong Premier League 2025, Langsning FC registered a resounding 6-0 victory over Sawmer SC at the SSA Stadium, First Ground, Polo, here . Donlad Diengdoh’s clinical hat-trick in the 41st, 44th, and 59th minutes set the tone for a dominant display by the winning side.
Nikelson Bina’s penalty kicks in the 13th minute after Donlad was fouled by Khrawkupar Tamu got the proceedings underway for Langsning. Richie Kharbani and Medingroy Makdoh chipped in with goals in the 66th and 89th minutes, respectively, to seal the win for Langsning.
The result propelled Langsning to second place in the standings with 7 points, level with Shillong Lajong but with a superior goal difference. Sawmer, meanwhile, slid to ninth position with 3 points, their goal difference taking a hit. A Sawmer player was sent off in the 73rd minute when they were already 5-0 down
