Shillong (Meghalaya), March 6: The National People’s Party (NPP) has finalized its list of candidates for the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) 2026 elections. The five selected candidates are:

Walbinath Ch Marak (Rongrikimgre)
Stevie M. Marak (Boldamgre)
Sengko D. Sangma (Raksamgre)
Dormonat Ch Sangma (Naguapara)
They were chosen based on experience, public service dedication, and winnability, with approval from the State Election Committee and State President.
