Shillong ( Meghalaya) , July 22 : 14 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 988.
While 11 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , 1 death each was recorded in South West Khasi Hills , West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills .

The worst affected district is East Khasi Hills with 11 more deaths and 184 new cases .
On Thursday , 513 new cases were detected which included 184 from East Khasi Hills , 105 from North Garo Hills and 59 from Ri Bhoi .
With the recovery of 307 patients today , the active cases now is 4,413.
