Shillong ( Meghalaya), Oct 28 : 61 fresh new COVID 19 cases were registered along with 51 recoveries in the last 24 hours in the state .
According to official sources , one death was reported from East Khasi Hills district taking the total fatalities to 1,449.

The number of recovered cases stands at 81,562 while the numbers of active cases are 516.
Till date , the total number of vaccines administered have reached 17,21,136 out of which 10,99,105 have received the first jab and 6,22,031 have received both the jabs .
