Shillong(Meghalaya), April 23: A total 146 people tested Covid -19 positive on Friday taking the total number of active Covid cases to 1,238.
Among the new cases 115 were reported from East Khasi Hills, 20 from Ri Bhoi , 4 each from West Jaintia Hills and West Garo Hills and 3 from East Jaintia Hills .

38 patients were declared recovered today cases taking the total number of recoveries to 14,236.
The state tally now stands at 15, 631 with 1238 active cases after a total of 14, 236 patients were declared recovered . The death toll so far due to the virus stands at 157.
