Shillong (Meghalaya ), Dec 17 : 69 new Covid cases were detected in the state today taking the the total number of cases in the state to 13,142 .

Among the new cases , 61 were reported from East Khasu Hills , 2 each East Garo Hills , Ri Bhoi and South West Garo Hills and 1 each from West Garo Hills and West Khasi Hills.
A total of 70 patients were declared recovered today .
