Shillong(Meghalaya) ,Oct 8: 123 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state today taking the state tally to 7,263.
However , the active cases as of now stand at 2,369 after a total of 4,,834 patients have been declared recovered .

Among the new cases, 79 were reported from East Khasi Hills district, 8 from Ri Bhoi, 7 from West Garo Hills, 14 from South Garo Hills, 3 from North Garo Hills, 6 from South West Khasi Hills, 3 from West Jaintia Hills and 1 each from East Garo Hills, West Khasi Hills and East Jaintia HIlls .
A total of 138 patients were declared recovered on Thursday.
