Shillong (Meghalaya), Nov 9 : One more Covid patient succumbed to his infections in Tura taking the death toll in the state to 94 .
The patient was identified as Sonkor Arengh aged 44 years and hailing from Tura.
He was admitted to Civil Hospital, Tura and tested positive on Nov 6. He was then referred to Tura Christian Hospital and died on Sunday morning of septic shock with multi-organ dysfunction with liver disease and pancreatitis.
On Monday , 28 new Covid cases were detected in the state taking the state tally to 10, 230 . East Khasi Hills reported 15 cases , East Garo Hills 5 cases , West Garo Hills 4 cases , Ri -Bhoi 2 cases and 1 each from South West Garo Hills and West Jaintia Hills .
37 patients were declared recovered on Monday .
