Manipur reports 938 new Covid cases , 12 more deaths

Imphal (Manipur), July 22: Manipur on Thursday reported 928 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.Deaths rose by 12 taking the fatality tally to 1,436, according to the latest data of the state Health department.

Now, the state’s COVID-19 infection caseload has reached 88,978 with 10,395 active cases.

The state also registered discharge of 868 patients during the day, which took the recovery count to 77,147. The state’s recovery rate is 86.70 per cent.

As many as 5,555 tests were conducted on Thursday , taking the total number of tests done so far to 10,26,424. The positivity rate of the day was 16.7 per cent.
