Imphal (Manipur), May 20 : Eleven persons including 6 males and 5 females tested Covid -19 positive in the state today .
According to Dr. K. S. Mangang , Spokesperson of the state heath department , all the individuals tested today at the VDRL, JNIMS here .

He said 9 of them are stranded people from Chennai while the remaining two persons were from Delhi and Guwahati.
The three symptomatic cases from District Hospital Churachandpur are now admitted in the Covid care facility at JNIMS and all control measures like containment and contact tracing has been taken up .
With these fresh cases the total number of positive cases in the state has increased to 20 with 2 recoveries and 18 active cases .
