Shillong(Meghalaya), Jan 22: Langsning FC ended their three-game losing streak in style, pulling off a spectacular comeback victory to beat Nongrim Hills SC 4-3 in the return leg of the OC Blue Shillong Premier League 2024 at the SSA Stadium.
Trailing early, Langsning fought back with goals from Mecheal Roy Kurbah (38’), Daohipaia Rymbai (56’, 66’), and Laldanmawia (86’P). Alem Khongwir of Nongrim Hills scored a hat-trick (25’, 82’, 90’+1) in a losing effort.
This match was a reversal of their first leg meeting, where Nongrim Hills came from behind to win 4-3 on December 6.
In another match, Rangdajied United FC and Nangkiew Irat SC played out a 0-0 draw, identical to their first leg encounter on January 7.
Langsning FC’s win takes them to 10 points, but their position in the standings remains unchanged.
