Shillong (Meghalaya), April 4: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong marked a significant milestone today, as it celebrated its 16th Annual Convocation. The momentous occasion saw 475 graduating students receive their degrees, including 381 from the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) 2023-25 batch, 54 from the Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPEx) 2024-25 batch, and 35 from the Post Graduate Programme for Working Executives (PGPWE) 2023-25 batch.
In addition, five scholars were awarded the prestigious Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, marking a significant achievement in their academic journey.
The convocation ceremony was graced by the presence of Conrad K. Sangma, Chief Minister of Meghalaya, as the Chief Guest, and Ashish Modi, President, Honeywell India, as the Guest of Honour. Shishir Kumar Bajoria, Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIM Shillong, extended his warm congratulations to the graduating students and their families.
The ceremony was a testament to the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the graduating students, and marked an important milestone in their academic and professional journey.
