Tura(Meghalaya) , March 8 : The District Council Affairs Department, Meghalaya, has announced the schedule for the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) elections. Key dates: nomination filing starts March 9, deadline March 16, poll April 10, and counting April 14.

Only one vehicle per candidate allowed within 100m of Deputy Commissioner’s office; four persons allowed in Returning Officer’s room. Unauthorised gatherings of five or more will be considered unlawful under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023.
