Shillong(Meghalaya), Sept 30 : Banteidor Lyngdoh, Minister of Agriculture today laid the foundation stone for upgradation of Jongksha PHC into Community Health Centre (CHC) at the premises of Jongksha PHC in the presence of Martle Mukhim, MDC Mawkynrew Constituency, G. Dkhar, Block Development Officer Mawkynrew C & RD Block and Dr. H Lyndem Director of Health Services (MI) among others.
In his brief address, Lyngdoh stated that with the upgradation of the present PHC, people of Jongksha and its adjoining areas can access better healthcare facilities. The minister also called upon all the stakeholders and the general public to cooperate with the state government in addressing the health issues and to improve the overall healthcare scenario.
