Shillong ( Meghalaya) , May 17: The tripartite talks with the proscribed HNLC will formally begin in the first week of June.
Meghalaya Chief Minister , Conrad Sangma, informed that a meeting took place on Tuesday where the Deputy Chief Minister has had an informal meeting with some of the HNLC leader’s . In the meeting political secretary, vice chairman executive member of HNLC and interlocutor were also present.
It was decided that the formal talks with the HNLC would start in the first week of June.
