Shillong ( Meghalaya), April 27 :The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People FKJGPGaro Hills Zone today reiterated its demand for removal of Jawairiya Islam from the post of project officer of Meghalaya Non-Conventional and Rural Energy Development Agency.

Earlier, the FKJGP had submitted a written complaint to the Director of MNREDA, but till date no action has been taken on the part of the Government.
The FKJGP said that it has come to their knowledge that Jawairiya Islam is not qualified to hold that post, as she had recently completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Guwahati University.
