Khliehriat(Meghalaya), Nov 27: The District Administration of East Jaintia Hills, here, convened a meeting with various stakeholders, including Hon’ble MLAs, members of the District Selection Committee (DSC), school principals, and legal representatives, to address concerns related to DSC recruitment procedures. The meeting followed a letter submitted by R. Siangshai and Advocate Shri K. Ksoo highlighting issues such as the display of cut-off marks, interview ratios, and the need for transparent communication with candidates.
To enhance transparency, the District Administration has decided to publish the qualifying or cut-off marks after the declaration of final results. The ratio of candidates shortlisted for the personal interview round will remain at 1:2. Candidates will be directly notified about subsequent stages of recruitment through email and SMS. The Provisional and Final Answer Keys will be uploaded on the DSC website after the conduct of examinations. Measures to prevent malpractice during examinations, including internet shutdowns and CCTVs, will also be explored. After the completion of the recruitment process, the marks of all candidates will be made public and uploaded on the official district website.
The District Administration reiteration of its commitment to ensuring fairness, transparency, and efficiency in all recruitment-related activities has been welcomed by stakeholders.
