Shillong ( Meghalaya), June 28 : Eight more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the state in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 827 .
While seven deaths were from East Khasi Hills one was reported from East Jaintia Hills .

According to official sources , 336 new cases were detected in the state on Monday with East Khasi at the forefront with 159 cases .
508 patients were also discharged today from various hospitals after full recovery .
