Shillong ( Meghalaya ), Aug 23 : The state witnessed a marginal decrease in Covid fatalities in the last 24 hours with only 3 cases being reported in the state .
1 case each was reported from East Khasi Hills , West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills .
The death toll now has now gone up to 281.
According health department sources , 305 new cases were detected on Monday which includes 138 cases from East Khasi Hills and 105 from Ri Bhoi .

434 patients were also discharged on Monday after full recovery .
The active cases has also gone down to 2,930 .
