Shillong( Meghalaya), April 19 :A Christian organization of United Christian Forum comprising Christians belonging to different Christian denominations of Meghalaya organized a prayer meeting at All Saints’ Cathedral here .

The prayer was organized to invoke God the Almighty to shower his blessing on all the communities of Meghalaya in view of the uncertain situation prevailing in the state.
The prayer meeting which started 9.00 a.m to 12.00 noon was presided over by the Chairman of the forum, Rev. Batkupar Dunai. The prayer meeting was marked by singing of religious hymns and group prayers invoking the Holy Spirit to spiritually empower them to lead a healthy life .
