Shillong (Meghalaya), Mar 7 : In a daring operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya thwarted a smuggling attempt near the international border, seizing cattle and miscellaneous items worth over ₹27 lakh.
Acting on specific intelligence inputs, troops of the 193rd Battalion, BSF Meghalaya, intercepted smugglers in the border area of Dulainala, preventing the illegal cross-border trade.

The seized items have been handed over to the concerned authorities for further legal action, as the BSF continues to maintain strict vigilance along the borders and prevent unlawful activities.
