Tripura : ITBP deployed along India - Bangladesh border in run up to Assembly elections

Agartala(Tripura) January 18: In order  to prevent infiltration and smuggling across the   Indo -Bangla border in here  , the Home Ministry has sounded  a high alert .
A spokesperson of MHA said that ministry has   reports  that there are huge number of fake names included in the final voter lists for the fortcoming assembly elections in the state  . A  powerful lobby in behind  including the names of the  fake voters in the final  voters list. There are apprehensions  that huge number of miscreants might infiltrate  into  Tripura ahead of  the assembly election.
A team of Opposition BJP recently meet with union home minister Rajnath Singh and expressed their apprehension on the issue . They submitted a list containing the names  of the fake voters  whose  names have been  included in the  final voter lists . The Union Home  Minister on his part  assured the delegation that strong preventive measures would be taken shortly along the  border areas.
According to reports   ITBP forces  have already  started  reaching the border state  for maintaining  law and order including border management. A ITBP  Spokeperson said the total  deployment would be completed  within  the next  three days. 
It is also  learnt that Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh is  likely to visit Tripura shortly ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's proposed visit to the state on  January 30 next . During his visit  he is likely to visit  some of the border areas and outposts.
