EXCLUSIVE: Arunachal MP denies Chinese soldiers entry in the state

Siang (Indo - China border ) : Arunachal East Lok Sabha MP, Nenong Ering while talking exclusively  to South Asia Views  said there has been  no  fresh intrusion of  Chinese soldiers  in Upper Siang  district of the state  which is represented by him. 
 
Talking to this scribe, he  said that there has been  no cases of  any fresh  intrusion as of now and the Chinese are just  constructing  roads  within their territory  .
 
He said that the area situated  in  Bising near the Tuting which is the  last outpost of ITBP  and   takes around   2 days to reach and is  situated  at a high altitude . The exact area is about 13 kms  from Tuting ADC head quarters .There is also   a parallel road from Yinkiong and Galing area to the Line of Actual Control (LAC ).Galing is situated on the  left side of Upper Siang district.
 
He added that  as of now  there  are no  new cases of  intrusion. However,    they  are constructing new roads  within their  territory . Ering also said that he had asked  Deputy Commissioner  of Upper Siang and local residents to  inform him  if  any contruction of road takes  place  inside Arunachal Pradesh  territory .
 
On  Tuesday   reports  were doing rounds  that Chinese soldiers with road-building machines crossed up to 200 metres into Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh during  December last year.  According to reports  they almost reached  a border village in the Upper Siang district before Indian troops stopped them from entering the border state.
 
China’s latest incursion, which comes four months after the two nuclear-armed neighbours ended a tense border standoff at Doklam, a largely uninhabited plateau near the strategic India-Bhutan-China tri-junction, is a rare one during  this time of the year. The Chinese rarely launch incursions in winter season ,sources said .
