Tripura : Regional parties announce their candidates for the ensuing Assembly Polls

Agartala(Tripura) , Jan 26 : The three tribal based regional parties has announced their candidates name for the ensuing assembly election. The three parties are INPT, NCT and IPFT(RAJESWAR). Announcing their decision the parties leadership also announced their candidates names. The leaders said that they have tried to forge alliance with Congress and earlier with the BJP. But discussion was not fruitful thats why they are contesting the elections on  their own. 
 

Tripura : Left Front drops 5 MLAs from candiadate list

Agartala(Tripura), Jan 24: The CPI-M led Left Front announced the names of left front candidates for the ensuing assembly election that to be held on 18th February 2018. Announcing the candidates names party secretary Bijan Dhar said that CPIM placed 12 new faces.
 
Apart from that, 7 women candidates will also be included  in the list.
 

Tripura: BJP not to announce chief ministerial candidate

Agartala(Tripura) ,January 20: The ruling BJP in Centre  is  laying special emphasis on its election preparations for Tripura. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh  will launch BJP s election campaigns  in Agartala in next week. According to BJP's Pravari  Sunil Deodhar, it is going to be  ‘the Battle Royale for the North East’ and the party feels  would give the saffron surge a strong hold in  West Bengal.
 

Tripura : Congress & CPI(M) are now friends during crisis

Agartala(Tripura): : The Congress and CPI (M) are now friends and are  helping each other at their crucial times. Though In national level CPM and Congress seems close but in Tripura both had been traditionally  rivals in  politics since merger of the princely state on October 15 1949. Many a political clash,murder and a very unhealthy polarization marred the state’s political landscape over the past many decades but the situation has now undergone a massive change in terms of political equations. 

Tripura: Opposition BJP threatens to boycott Assembly polls

Agartala (Tripura)   :The opposition BJP in the state has threatened not to  participate in the ensuing assembly election until or unless fake voters names are  deleted from the final  voters list. BJP placed the similar  demand  before the  Election Commission. They would  also apprise  the  Deputy Election Commissioner ,Deepak Jain who would  be  reaching  the state capital on  Janauary 18 next .
 

Tripura : PM Modi to address election rallies in three phases

Agartala (Tripura ): Prime Miniter , Narendra Modi  would  join  the BJP's election campaign in Tripura and  is  likely to visit the border state in three phases .
According to state BJP sources, the Prime Miniter  would visit  the state in three phases . Modi is likely  to address two rallies on Janauary 31 next . As per programme  the Prime Minister is expected  to address  the  first rally  at the commericial capital of state  , Dharmanagar

BREAKING NEWS : Tripura Assembly election schedule likely to be announced on Saturday

Agartala (Tripura ): The election commission is  likely announce the election schedule for Tripura . According to  sources elections in the state is likely to be held in the month of March.
 
Meanwhile,  the deputy election commissioner is arriving the state capital on Saturday to oversee the preparations  by Chief Electoral office here. 
 
A total of 300 companies of  Central Para Military force would be  deployed  in the state shortly.  25 companies of para military  forces  have already reached the state capital.  

Tripura : High powered team to look into socio-economic problems faced by the tribals

 Agartala (Tripura):With a view to find out the  socio-economic problems faced by tribals living in Tripura, the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh  has  instructed to form a special committee  consisting of  his ministry’s officials.
